We are still working on the Mac OS X version and soon you won't be booting to Windows, using third-party emulation tools or carrying a Windows laptop to use our products. We hope you find this release great news. Libraries are compiled to universal format including x86_64 and i386 binaries. Use brew or macports to get those on your system. Examples are provided as for Linux, using autotools for configuration.
